Up to $30,000 in services to put on a free public event at the TOHU in summer 2027, for Montreal non-profits
If you run a non-profit in Montreal and want to put on a free event next summer, the TOHU can host it and back it with its own teams. The TOHU is the circus venue in Montreal's Saint-Michel district. The support is worth up to $30,000.
Applications close on Sunday 1 November 2026 at 23:59.
Concretely, the $30,000 is not cash. It comes as logistics, technical help, communications and staff.
There are two sizes. An event that uses the site for 3 days, with 1 day to set up, 1 day of event and 1 day to take down, gets up to $20,000. A longer stay of up to 5 days, with 2 or 3 days of event, gets up to $30,000.
The event has to take place between 28 June and 10 October 2027, on consecutive days, and draw people from the whole metropolitan area. Montreal and Québec productions also have to make up most of the programme, including work from ethnocultural and Indigenous communities.
The TOHU doesn't limit the call to circus, and it hasn't said how many events it will take.
