What Circus Box collects, where it goes, and how to get it changed or deleted.

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Circus Box is run by Nikolas Pulka in Montréal, and I'm the person responsible for your personal information. Questions go to hello@circusbox.media.

If you subscribe

The newsletter needs your email address. Your first and last name are optional. On the newsletter page, you can also pick your topics: casting calls, industry news and grants.

I use Resend to store the list and send the emails. Resend records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, which shows me what's useful to you. Your information is stored on its servers in the United States.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you use it, your address stays on file marked as unsubscribed, so you don't get added back by mistake. If you want it deleted completely, write to me.

If you just read the site

The site records which pages and articles are opened and which link brought you here. That's tied to a random ID stored in your browser, and never to your name or email.

Base44 hosts the site and Cloudflare delivers it, so both handle your IP address when you visit. Your browser also loads the fonts from Google, so Google sees your IP address too. These companies may process that information outside Canada.

If you apply to a casting call

You apply directly to the company, using the instructions in the casting call. Circus Box doesn't receive your application.

What I don't do

I don't sell your personal information.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete what I have about you. Write to hello@circusbox.media and I'll answer within 30 days.

If you're in Québec and we can't sort it out, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information, the province's privacy regulator.
