EUR 20,000 to 30,000 for a project that moves between France and Québec, for artists aged 18 to 35.
Odyssart funds one thing: a project in 2027 that physically moves between France and Canada/Québec, in either direction. Co-creation, a joint residency, shared workshops, a collaboration that needs both territories.
It is the France-Québec axis with real money behind it, and the age limit is the first thing to check. 18 to 35 révolus, which means you can still apply the year you turn 36.
The Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse runs the programme with support from the Fondation DRG. It backs cultural cooperation, so collaboration and co-creation, and artistic work such as residencies and joint workshops carried out on the other territory.
The grant is between EUR 20,000 and EUR 30,000 and cannot exceed 70% of the total budget, so you need the remaining 30% from somewhere else.
A francophone dimension has to be present in the project, and the project has to support emerging creation.
- ·One or more young francophone artists or cultural professionals aged 18 to 35 révolus.
- ·The project has to be carried by a structure whose registered office is in France or in Canada/Québec. The mobility runs from France to Canada/Québec or the other way.
- ·The project must favour emerging creation and carry a francophone dimension.
- ·ARTCENA relays the call for street arts, circus and theatre, but OFQJ sets no discipline restriction of its own.
- ·The full rules are published separately, and they are worth reading before you build a budget around the 70% ceiling.
