Up to $20,000 for a project built with a partner in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
Same structure as the other CALQ regional calls, different territory and a deadline nine days later. Up to $20,000 for a project that formally involves a partner from Abitibi-Témiscamingue, with arts du cirque first on the eligible list.
Your principal residence has to be in the territory. That is the condition that decides most applications before the artistic content is read.
The agreement is between CALQ and the MRCs of Abitibi, Abitibi-Ouest, La Vallée-de-l'Or and Témiscamingue, the city of Rouyn-Noranda, and the Conseil de la culture de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
It supports creation, production and diffusion projects that connect the arts to the local population. Eligible costs run from your creation fees and research through to fees for collaborating artists, studio rental, materials, equipment rental, travel, accommodation, per diems and promotion.
The ceiling is $20,000 and no more than 80% of the total project cost. The rest has to come from the partners in money or services. The project cannot start before the deadline, and CALQ replies three to four months later.
