Letní Letná closed its 23rd edition with 214 performances, and has already dated 2027

Letní Letná has published its own figures for the 23rd edition, which ran from 12 to 31 August in Prague's Letenské sady. Across 20 festival days the festival counted 65,000 spectators and 214 performances.

Letní Letná is one of our favourite festivals. The team behind it makes it one of the nicest to deal with in Europe.

Four international headline companies played 62 of those performances between them. The programme drew artists from 11 countries.

The production team spent 43 days on the Letná plain in total, counting build, the festival itself and get-out. Festival photographer František Ortmann shot 20,026 images over the run.

Audience collections raised 125,000 CZK for Zdravotní klaun, the Czech organisation that puts clowns into hospitals.

The festival credits the city of Prague, the Czech culture ministry and the Prague 7 district as its public funders. The PPF Foundation is named separately, as partner of the international programme.

The 24th edition already has dates: 11 to 31 August 2027.

Anyone building a 2027 touring plan now has a fixed European date to work around, eleven months out.
