Le Plongeoir is hiring an acrobatics teacher for its team.
You'd teach the acrobatics side of Le Plongeoir's weekly classes, for kids, teenagers and adults, and work with school groups up to a high-school circus programme. Teenagers are a real part of the job: the ad asks for experience with them by name.
If you're an acrobat who already teaches amateurs, this one is for you. The contract is fixed-term to start and can become permanent.
Le Plongeoir is one of 15 venues in France with the Pôle national Cirque label, which the Ministry of Culture gives to places that support circus creation and touring. Besides the weekly classes, it runs a season of shows and the Le Mans fait son Cirque festival every June.
In the daytime it hosts school groups and groups with specific needs. It also teaches circus as a high-school subject with the Lycée Le Mans Sud, a local high school. The ad is in French.
