Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth opens casting for the 2027-28 Winter Circus.

The Winter Circus is an annual Christmas-season tradition in Helsinki, performed by a new ensemble with an original live score every year. This year's call is open to circus artists and clowns from Finland and worldwide.
REQUIREMENTS
- ·Any circus discipline, clowns included, from Finland or anywhere in the world
- ·Extra interest in acts that loosely fit a beach or holiday theme
- ·Extra interest in artists experienced designing mechanical chain reactions ("domino effects")

Production running since
1994, Helsinki (~40,000 spectators/season)
Rehearsal period
~10 weeks (Mon–Fri)
Performance period
~7 weeks (mostly Wed–Sun)

End of September 2027 to end of January 2028
